Islanders
A “moment” is chosen among those continuously-passing “moments”... Then it is captured... It is captured in a frame... And locked up. Just in that moment. Neither before nor after... Now, it has been taken to eternity... A single look... A single smile... Longing... Hope... Love... Sorrow... Fear... Waiting... Joy... Grief... Whatever there is in that frame.
The old are lost within the new... Even though they were also new once... Yesterdays are forgotten... Even though they were once today, fresh. In a moment, even this “moment” becomes “past”... Even though it was “future” a single moment ago.
